Have bitten judogi !?　柔道着食べたことある？

This is a judogi cake. I have never seen a cake like this in my lift even though I'm a Japanese.
It was very delicious than it might appear to be.

Maitre Mamy, he is a boss of the Hakudokan judo club.
He invited all judoka and their family to his house today and we celebrated some judoka getting a promotion of the Kodokan-Dan.



今日は先月『鏡開き』を主催した柔道クラブHakudokanのマミー先生からお誘いを受けてホームパーティーに行ってきました。
毎年、クラブのメンバーとその家族を招待して家族ぐるみで交流を深めているそうです。

そして、鏡開き式で日本大使から表彰された講道館認定の昇段の表彰状のお披露目と昇段した柔道家の紹介がありました。

お祝いなのでケーキも振舞われました。

そうなんです！ナイフで入刀している柔道着！ケーキなんです！

正直なところ、見た目ではこの柔道着（ケーキ）の味が全く想像できませんでしたが、食べてビックリ！！スポンジが２段＆フルーツが入っていて、とても美味しかったです。

柔道着を食べる！！初でした笑

We enjoyed eating, playing and talking. 
All kids like doing activities because Mamy's property is large.



マミー先生の家の敷地は広いです。
彼はアメリカンスクールで働いているのでテントや遊び道具を沢山借りてきたそうです。
私も見たことのないグッズもありました。そのおかげで子供たちは終始大はしゃぎ！

He got this cow who is a pregnant this month.

And he has already built a house for a baby cow.

He told me this cow would give his family milk and reduce a concern over his old age.


私が知る限り、彼の庭には犬５匹、アヒル６羽、そして最近購入したという牛１頭がいます。
牛の餌代は馬鹿にならないそうですが、それでも老後のために買ったそうです。
老後のために牛を買う！日本ではなかなか無い発想！流石、牛を大事にするマダガスカルです。
しかもこの牛、妊娠中で１ヵ月後には子牛が誕生予定だそうです。

He train his dogs with wearing a judogi.
Oh, it was special today!


Anyway, he has a good mind by learning and teaching judo. Also he has long experience in teaching judo in Madagascar and Canada, and he definitely understand how much value it is to do judo for education.

He told me his dream. 
Some day all judoka understand judo and then keep discipline and good manners. And they do their best on their studies or work, not only judo. He has the idea of making rules that the students have to study hard and their school grades must be somewhat better for a promotion of judo level.

I told one thing to all judoka and parents after listening his idea.
It's "Be good at both academics and sports.". 




今日は特別に、主人が柔道着を着ての調教でした。


マミー先生にはいつも感心させられます。彼は本当に柔道を理解されていて、マダガスカルだけではなくカナダでも指導経験があり尊敬できる先生です。

柔道家やその父兄さんの前で話す機会がある時は、彼は必ず武道の精神や嘉納治五郎師範の教えを紹介します。今日も『心・技・体』の話をしていました。

そして食事をしながら彼が私に夢を語ってくれました。
チビッ子柔道家が柔道を通じて普段の生活における規律を守り、マナーも正しくできる子に育つということ。柔道一辺倒ではなく、将来のために学校の勉強も疎かにしない柔道家であってほしいこと。
今後はクラブ内で柔道の昇級審査時に柔道の技術と知識だけでなく、学校の成績を親に道場へ持って来てもらい、その成績も鑑みて審査したいと、かなり想いは熱いものでした。

その話を受けて、私からも日本にはサムライ時代から『文武両道』という言葉があって、嘉納治五郎師範も『文武両道』の模範的創始者だったことを紹介させて頂きました。

そして最後にチビッ子柔道家たちに
「柔道だけやる！は、十分じゃないよ！」
「勉強だけやる！も、十分じゃないよ！」
「柔道頑張る！勉強も頑張る！イイね！」
と伝えました。

ま～チビッ子たちは、ポッカーンとしてましたが。笑
